Behind The Website
Who Are We?
Hey there!
I’m Greg and I built this site with the help of Jonny,
my long-time creative partner and editor.
Together with the wider game audio community, we are working toward
making knowledge and resources for game audio more accessible.

Why Did You Build This Site?
Getting into game audio is hard - there is so much amazing knowledge out there
but it’s scattered all across the internet.
My goal was to collect all of that knowledge and organise it in a way
that makes it easy to learn.
A question I hear a lot is: “Where do I start?” and so I designed the Learning Roadmap as the answer to this question. It brings all of my favourite articles, tutorials and resources together from around the web, covering everything from sound design to audio programming, to networking and getting your first job in the industry.
What Is The Long Term Goal?
We’re proud of what we’ve built so far, but we’re far from done!
We’ll be continuing to make edits and additions to the Learning Roadmap
to ensure that it’s the best it can be, as well as expanding our
Resources, Communities and Inspiration pages.
We’re also working on some exciting new features that we hope will offer fantastic networking and community-building opportunities to the game audio community -
stay tuned!
Can I Help?
Absolutely! We are immensely grateful for any help we can get and
the best ways to do so are:
Sharing the website - on social media, with friends, schools and universities,
anyone who you think might appreciate it!Providing feedback - any thoughts on the site? Let us know here - feedback is very much welcome and appreciated and can be sent here.
Help the pages grow - found a useful resource, a new community or a cool redesign? Let us know here!
Donating directly to us via the link below - if you are able to, please consider contributing toward the cost of operating and maintaining the site,
it helps a lot!
How Are We Using Your Money?
Money raised via Ko-fi will be used initially to cover the basic costs of maintaining the site and keeping it up and running, such as hosting, the domain and plugins.
Should those running costs be covered, all further money raised will be put towards improving and growing the website, either through purchasing tools to improve the website and create new content, or simply enabling us to dedicate more time to working on the site.
You can view our current goals on our Ko-fi page here.
What’s Next?
Transparency and community involvement are really important to us.
That’s why we want to show you a roadmap with some of our upcoming goals and plans.
If you have any ideas, suggestions or feedback then shoot us an email we’d love to hear from you!
Website Launch
After a year of hard work, the website has finally launched and we are incredibly excited to share it with you!
Patch 1.1 Improvement & Expansion
Our first focus after the launch will be to get as much community feedback as we can and use it to improve the site. We’ll also be looking to expand our resources and communities pages and fill in any gaps. This will be an ongoing task and we will make these updates and edits on a regular basis.
